A few weeks ago, I posted an article about Preparing a House for Sale and Going Above and Beyond.
The seller, a past client, hired me to sell his condo. The unit needed a fresh coat of paint, some minor repairs, and staging. We contacted a professional home stager but the seller was on a tight budget. By borrowing furniture from my personal home as well as my friend's house, and a little retail shopping, the seller and I staged the unit ourselves.
By staging the unit, potential buyers could see how the furniture could be arranged for an easy breasy lifestyle.
The condo featured three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a breakfast area, dining room, family room, courtyard and double detached garage.
The neighborhood amenities include a generous sized swimming pool with an incredible view of the Ross Barnett Reservoir, plus a clubhouse that can be reserved (rented) by owners for special occasions.
The condo was shown multiple times daily for about a week until a buyer scooped it up.
