Women's Council of REALTORS® Region 1 Conference was held on July 16-19, 2017 at the Stonewall Resort in Roanoake, West Virginia.  Great time was had by all who attended and sponsored the event!  Thank you to all of the attendees who made this a fun filled conference! 

THEME:  RELAX, REFRESH, RETREAT, RENEW

The networking was fantastic and since returning from the conference, I have received two referrals!  Love when you are with real estate professionals and fellow WCR members who find the value in attending the Regional Conferences where you get to network and get to know others from around the US.

Welcome Reception Pool Party/Fire Pit/Smores & Networking - July 16, 2017 

July 17, 2017 - Full day  - Thank you to Sherri Sousa, President for National Women's Council of REALTORS who attended and shared the power of the network and the power of YOU!   Speakers:  Marki Lemons-Ryhal, Laura Prisc, and Eric Murphy.   FOCUS:  Your Perfect Practice Morning For Sustainable Growth

Afternoon Activities/Networking  -  Teaming up with conference attendees you could do anyone of the activities:  Paddle Boat, Kayaking, Board Games, Water Trike, Walking Trails, Corn Hole Game, etc... - Splash in the Pool. 

West Virginia Night Reception - Host:  WVAR - Local cuisine, attendee gift bag (all items made in West VA! - Amazing), Bluegrass Trio, Wine Tasting, Moonshine Sample Sipping, Cornhole Competion (Congratulations to Kathy Dunn & Rosemarie Doshier - Cornhole Champs) , Singing, and dancing!

July 18, 2017 - Early AM Walking Tour, Speakers, and a wonderful "Team-Building Lunch with Chef" experience.  Attendees worked together to create salad plate for judging.  Attendees enjoyed lunch sharing their culinary experience and networking.  (Congratulations to Chad's Salad for winning as the Chad Girls brought down the house with cheers!)

Followed up by attendees getting on the road, some remained another night and spent the afternoon taking the Riverboat down the lake, and others went sight seeing for the surrounding area.  Thank you to all who shared their photos, videos, and their time during the conference!  Great friendships old and new!  Interested in learning more about becoming a member of a local network in your area visit:  www.wcr.org

WCR Region 1 consists of  five states - North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee and Kentucky.
