Boston Avenue United Methodist Church
Viewing this church is a very special experience. If you have not been, you must add it to your list because it a National Historic Landmark. It can be found in Downtown Tulsa and is classified as art deco architecture. In fact, it is one of the best examples of ecclesiastical art deco in the U.S. Therefore, it is really neat that such a piece of history and architecture can be found right here in Tulsa! Tours can be arranged during the week with a simple phone call to the church. However, guided tours typically take place after service at 11:00am.
Old Urban Trolley
This is a lot of fun and a great idea for a Saturday morning date downtown. From 10:00am to 12:00pm, come ride the trolley through downtown Tulsa’s historic districts. The cost is $25.00 per person. And after the tour, find a spot downtown to eat lunch!
Self-Guided Art Deco Tour
