I love long-exposure, evening and night shots. This photo was taken at dusk, as the light was fading fast. I love the kaleidascope effect of the colors blending together as the tilt-a-whirl spins.
I can almost smell the corndogs and cotton candy looking at this picture. There is something about a western Montana county fair that nothing else on Earth can do for your soul.

That is such a great picture! From our condo in Panama City while on vacation last week, we could see some rides and other hotel lights along the beach and it was so peaceful looking. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Thanks for sharing!

We were in the Kalispell area a few weeks ago, and will be there again soon. We were in Missoula last year - we stayed at the Blue Mountain Bed & Breakfast. I'd definitely have gone to the fair if it had been going on at the time!
I used to love those rides but not anymore...I like my feet on the ground.
