Today I’m excited to bring on our team’s new member, Katelyn Christiansen, who will be acting as our client care specialist. Her contributions will help us continue to bring you day-to-day value.
To learn a little more, I wanted to ask Katelyn some questions about her background. Before Katelyn joined us, she got her start in the finance industry. She told me that her work under the board of directors for a bank in Salt Lake City was one of the steps that led her to finding her place as an administrative assistant in the world of real estate.
In fact, Katelyn is the second generation in her family to have been in the banking industry. It was in around 1984 that Katelyn’s own father started in banking. She says his 30 years of experience is something he has passed on to her, which comes in handy now that she has moved on to real estate.
Roxburgh & Associates is a second-generation family business, as well. So we were all excited to learn of Katelyn’s similar experience. We truly believe this will help her fit well into our culture.
Between her work for CEOs and her shared years of work experience with her father, Katelyn is bringing a few different skills to her new position with us.
One of the biggest learning moments she’s had in her career so far, she said, was working so closely with people whose schedules were absolutely packed and whose workloads were massive. Managing people with big goals and big dreams is something she says has helped her come into her own as a professional.
Those are exactly the sort of skills she hopes to bring to our team, as well. Real estate being as big and chaotic a business as it is, we’re thrilled to have someone with Katelyn’s organizational skills onboard.
Another important reason we hired Katelyn was to help us give better service to our clients. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s no longer feasible for one agent to handle all client communication. This is where Katelyn comes in. Katelyn is the person our clients will speak to first about their questions, concerns and needs and who will make sure those needs are met.
As we’re growing, her role will only become more and more important to our team.
If you have any other questions or would like more information feel free to give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
