CATCH SOME MOVIES UNDER THE STARS → Hoboken's Movies Under the Stars continues to offer free outdoor movies throughout August at Pier A in Hoboken. The August lineup includes: August 2 - Trolls, August 9 - Boss Baby, August 16 - Sing.
MAKE MOJITOS HERE → Mojito Madness Cocktail Class at Liberty House Restaurant on August 9. The class is $45 and includes passed appetizers and mojitos crafted by you.
CHECK OUT → the 114th Annual La Festa Italiana August 8-13 at Holy Rosary Church in Jersey The“Old World” street festival features live bands, singing soloists, fabulous foods, thirst-quenching drinks and fun for the kids.
EAT SPAGHETTI HERE → Spaghetti Dinner Block Party on Sinatra Drive in Hoboken August 25. This event was started in 2005 to recreate a community event that took place in 1955. Tickets are $25 and must be purchased in advance.
HEAD TO → Jersey City LGBT Pride Festival on Saturday, August 26 at the Newark Avenue Pedestrian Mall. The festival celebrates the diversity of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities and allies of Hudson County and the New York City metropolitan area, and is one of the largest festivals in the Northern New Jersey region.
PARK YOUR CAR HERE → Hudson Stables in Hoboken. Opening in the fall of this year, Hudson Stables is a luxury car club and storage facility in Northwest Hoboken offering a safe, secure, humidity-controlled spot to store vehicles.
GET EXCITED FOR → French pastries coming to Hudson Tea; Choc•O•Pain is coming to uptown Hoboken. This will be their fourth location, second location in Hoboken. Choc•O•Pain is known for their fresh baked goods and French lifestyle experience. The Hudson Tea location is expected to open by the end of this year.
