Total Eclipse of the... Earth

Real Estate Agent with Donna Homes, powered by JPAR - 0480809

On Monday, August 21st, there will be an Eclipse. There are many areas across the country where you can see a "total" eclipse. For me, that's 630+ miles away in Missouri. Looks like it's going to hit both ends at Kansas City, Missouri as well as St. Louis.

If you want to see when the eclipse happens where you are, just put your zip code into this page and it'll tell you the exact time. In my zip code in Bee Cave, TX, I can see a very partial eclipse at 1:09 PM. According to the image, barely half will be covered.

Here's the website to check your area.

Solar Eclipse Austin Texas 2012

The last Solar Eclipse we got pictures of were from May 2012. We went to a neighborhood that was empty at the time, but now has hundreds of houses so we wouldn't be able to get this same view.

Hi Donna - at least I am in Florida where it will be 83% rather than the 70% at home.

It really was a special event.  We only reached about 38% of totality here in Sacramento.  It made me envious of my sister who lives in Idaho, who witnessed 100%.

Austin will be in the 100% zone next round in 2024, so we'll be sure to get some good seats! We'll be one of the people charging people to camp out in our yard or on our balcony!
