How Colors Speak to Me
Just recently, my 8-year-old grandson and I have been dabbling in abstract art. Make no mistake, I'm not an artist and I'm not trying to be one, but I've always been fascinated by abstract art. In many ways my mind works like abstract art. I mean when you see all these colors meshed together in no certain way, it requires you to extract meaning and sometimes even "give" meaning to it. Abstract art to me is like the complexities of life, we have to figure it out and make sense of it.
While my little entrepreneur grandson has been selling his art (how cool is that), one of the real benefits of creating art, at least for me, is that it totally relaxes me and I don't know about you, but I could certainly use more of that: relaxation that is.
