Cary NC Real Estate has been booming for quite some time now. The market picked up in 2013 and we have seen substantial gains year after year since then with low inventory and multiple offers in all price points. Coming into the fall we are seeing a definite slowdown in the $700,000+ range in our market. However, anything under $500,000 in Cary is still seeing 80% of the homes sold within 30 days and 33% of all homes sold above final list price in 2017. Given the demand we are seeing appreciation rates not seen in previous years in this area. The average overall sales price increased 8% and the average resale price increased 4%.
