Yes, as part of my life, I'm doing blogging and social media for others. For some people, I'm simply setting up 2 hour coaching sessions to teach people how to blog (w/ an SEO approach) so that they can blog better and get found online. These are for the Do-it-yourselfers. Some of them already know how to blog, and they just need to understand how to do it better.
The goal is to enable them to do it much better, just by outlining some simple principles. I also offer to review and optimize some articles for them. Again, the goal is that they can then go on to do this themselves and make them more effective and more efficient. For some people, I will just do 1 session; for others it may be 4 to 5 (or more) pending on their needs.
For some of my clients, I'm doing blogging as well as backlinking for them. Yes, there are 2 parts of the equation - on page optimization and off page. I'm excited about working with a home care nursing company in the City. They service the 5 boroughs, Westchester County as well as Dutchess and Orange Counties. The owner is finally ready to re-engage (the owner had some personal family issues, so I had to be patient for a while). I've now been helping her for a couple of weeks. I was also happy to see that their new marketing manage also wrote a few quick blog posts, including this one: Safety guide for seniors. Tips for enjoying the season and staying healthy.
And, then I have my client who I've been working with for several months. He's very smart and strategic and I really enjoy working with him and writing so I can help others that may be in difficult financial situations and need a good way out and with someone they can trust. He basically buys houses for cash on Long Island and then afterwards, he fixes them up and flips him. Most often, he is helping people that have inherited houses, and those houses need a LOT of work as they haven't been maintained for years. Unfortunately, many of them don't have the funds to make major repairs to sell the house, and they need to sell the house to get the rest of the proceeds from the estate.
Many of them no longer live in the area, so it's really difficult/time consuming, not to mention expensive, to manage this. In the meantime, while the house just sits there, it's costing them more and more money as they need to pay for real estate taxes (which are expensive here) and many other maintenance costs.
Now, there are many dishonest investors out there. There are also scams out there. I'm fortunate because I'm working with an honest and capable investor. So, I feel like I'm helping the underdog find a person they can trust and help them get out of their sticky (and often emotionally draining situation).
Recently, I put together a mega epic guide to help them. Maybe even it's a magnum opus. It's the Ultimate Guide to selling a house to settle an estate. It's the guide from start to finish for someone who's inherited a house and guides them through the process. It's well over 6,000 words, much longer than I anticipated. I'm hoping that soon it will rank really well (because I think it's an awesome post and I poured my heart and soul into it. And, soon, I will turn it into a pdf file/ebook so we can use it as a lead magnet to find more customers for him.
I have many more articles that I'm excited to write for him....so I guess I better get going.
