Home prices in the greater Denver Metro area decreased for the first time since February. In July, the average sold price of a single-family home was $444,108, one percent lower than last month. Average home sale prices are still 10 percent higher than this time last year. As compared to last month, the average price of a single family detached home remained relatively unchanged, while the average price for a condo/townhome decreased by nearly three percent.  According to the latest report from REColorado.

Of course property in the low 300's and under are still selling very well, but we are inching up little by little to having more inventory than previous months.  A needed welcome for the many buyers who continue to get priced out and beat out of a listing they were hoping to "win".

If you have been thinking about selling, and before the snow starts to fly, now might be a good time to check out your home value.
