Attention Realtors - I Need Your Help and Advice!

By
Mortgage and Lending with AmeriFirst Financial, Inc. NMLS#222444

I truly need your advice.  I have done a lot of workshops and classes so presenting is not an issue for me.  I am given an opportunity to be a guest speaker at a large Realtor event.  I love any chance I get to help people in their business!  I want to make sure that I can bring something of value to these agents and I'm flipping back and forth what to present.  Would you please let me know what topic, whether I listed it below or not, would be of interest to you if you were sitting in the audience.  It's a 3 day CE training event on various topics.  Thank you!

  • FHA 203k
  • Appraisals
  • Down payment assistance
  • FHA & VA loans
  • Understanding Credit
  • Strategic Financing - Goes briefly over various products like FHA, VA, USDA, Reverse, etc
  • Video Marketing
  • Snap Chat Marketing
  • Divorcing Clients

Video marketing would interest me the most. Any type of online marketing is sure to drive some interest, especially at a conference.

Hi Jayne- I don't know if you've already done this but you could also ask this in the Q&A section of ActiveRain!  I'll bet you get a large response.

Who chooses Appraisers, and why.

Do we still use HUD-1, or is the CD the only form used at Closing?

Politics aside, what is the future of CFPB, TRID, and Dodd-Frank?

Thank you for the ideas.  Thank you Kathy Streib for your suggestion too.  I did that and I received a lot of great advice and ideas!   I loved educating people and with this information in my pocket I can now make it valuable as well!

Fred Griffin, we actually still use both the CD and the Hud-1!  More confused now? lol.  Easy way to remember is HUD1 and old GFE/TIL is used on open end loans like HELOCS and Reverse Mtgs and personal property (mobile homes) and LE and CD on closed end loans.  As far as CFPB, time will tell lol
