Great tips. Social media is just that - social. It should not be monopolized by anyone trying to promote their services. Of course you should let people know what you do but not take over the whole site.

As professionals we do have to know what we are doing on social media
All good advice....add in post the same way you would talk in public. It will avoid going down a bad path...

I work hard to follow these rules, and also try to switch it up and not bombard my followers with too much real estate talk. I do have a personal page and a business page.

The gact checking one is particularly annoying to me....so many people just share without even confirming what they are sharing is true. So easy to check and no excuse for it.

Hi Gabe Sanders
I am glad you liked he check list of tips. As busness people we must be mindful
These tips seem like common sense --but things that many pp may not think about. I do see agents promote listings on their personal pages--if they don't overdue it, feel it's ok.

Hi Mary Hutchison, SRES, ABR
They are common sense. Best to have a business page, in my opinion if you are using FB to promote
Very good advice Doug. I can't imagine using anyone else's content or photos!

It has happened Jan Green and is always a good reminder. Either have their permission and/or give them the credit
