A few weeks ago I received a call from an agent no longer in the business asking if I could assist a former client relocating back to our area. This person was looking for a lease and while that’s not a part of the business I pursue, I am happy to help when I can.
Leasing in our area is quite competitive. While I represent landlords who I assisted as buyers when they acquired their property, I don’t make working with prospective tenants in their search an active part of my real estate practice.
There is limited inventory. Often difficulty in showing properties. Frankly there are other issues too. Simply, I find it’s not always the best use of my time. But because I ask lots of questions and then listen carefully -- in some cases, it works...here is another one of those times.
