I have not only been selling condos in Paramount Bay since it first opened in 2010, but I also now am a resident of this extraordinary building. I can talk all day about the amenities like the east and west swimming pools, concierge, jacuzzis, spa area, gym, multiple children’s playrooms, etc, but I would like to highlight what I feel makes Paramount Bay a unique and special place in Edgewater and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Service at Paramount Bay
Most buildings come with a rules-based attitude and often remind you what you can’t do, or when you ask for help they aren’t trained how to assist you. In Paramount Bay, the staff is trained well in all aspects of service.
Paramount Bay sets itself apart by having a staff well-trained to provide excellent service and to be accommodating.
Paramount Bay’s Toddler Play Room
As a father of a toddler, I can’t say enough about their toddler playroom. It is a nice size and full of toys and a well-place TV to put on cartoons. The building also has a separate room for older children with various TV’s and game consoles. When it’s raining, and you need to get the children out of your residence, these are great go-to options.
Location Amenities at Paramount Bay
Paramount Bay is set on a quiet waterfront location in Edgewater without so much city noise, half a block from Margaret Pace Park which is one of the most dynamic parks (and also waterfront) in South Florida with amazing energy. Between the dog park, basketball court with constant pickup games, and highly utilized tennis courts, volleyball courts and soccer/football field, Margaret Pace Park has a constant flow of people and positive energy. Publix is also just 4 blocks away, so no need to get in your car if you want to head to the grocery store.
The only drawback is that there could be more restaurants to walk to (although there is enough of a selection to get by).
In this day and age accessibility is everything. From convenient Miami Trolley stops a block away, metro mover 4 blocks away, 2 nearby exits to the beach and to 95, getting in and out of the neighborhood is a piece of cake.
High Ceilings
10’ ceilings are a must in a luxury condo. It creates the feeling of a larger space, and it also allows the extra height for those that want to install soffit lighting without bringing the ceilings too low.
Flow Through Floor Plans
All of the units at Paramount Bay are flowthrough units in that they have both east and west exposure. The eastern exposure offers direct bay views for all units, and the western exposure allows for beautiful sunset and city views.
Extraordinary Outdoor Space at Paramount Bay
With their “flowthrough” floor plans, Paramount Bay units typically have two balconies, both in the east and west side of the units. The east side balconies span the entire width of the apartment, and they are around 10 feet deep which creates an extraordinary amount of living space. For example, one can fit a 6- or 8-person dining table easily with plenty of room for a set of lounge furniture and more.
Paramount Bay also was built on a relatively large lot, so the front part of the lot is lushly landscaped. The large footprint also allowed for a nice sized east sunrise pool as well as a large west pool with multiple barbeque areas, cabanas, wet bar and more.
Gorgeous Club Room at Paramount Bay
Paramount has a waterfront club room that rivals many of Miami’s upscale lounges.
