Thank you so much Sheila Anderson - have you ever been to the Gardens? I went to the Duke gardens near Princeton New Jersey years ago and loved!!!!
Your welcome Joanna. I don't think I have been there but I really like Calder and Moore.
Joanna,
How wonderful to share this special spot with us. I enjoyed reading your memories of time with Marcus. A
Hi Joanna - I have been to those gardens. I will go again and bring our friends.
When and if you come to New York Ron and Alexandra Seigel and Sheila Anderson it is a place I would gladly take you to. Yes, time for you to return Grant Schneider - it really is magical and so close to you!
Hi Joanna -- the Pepsico Gardens are "new" to me. I too enjoyed reading your post that is both full of information and wonderful memories -- a nice combination and beautifully told as always.
You are too kind Michael Jacobs - hard to believe I am going to be a Grammy and have such vivid memories of Marcus as a baby - oy how time flies!
I would love to take Hamilton - my grandson who is 2- there some time when I am in NY visiting him. I had trouble with being a grandma.a.a.a. as some people would call me - so I asked everyone to call me Kanga from Winnie the Pooh and Hamilton is "Roo" -

First off: congrats on your becoming a soon-to-be "Grand" mother, i.e., Bubbie! Generations of memories held in the outdoors is something I always support and secondly it is wonderful to see the renovation, the art and the overall excitement of it that you are exuding. A very special place to be sure.
Hi there Lise Howe and Gayle Rich-Boxman Fishhawk Lake Real Estate - I am so excited to take my grandson (not yet born but due any minute) to Pepsico and I would love to take you both as well - I am going to be called Grammy unless the kid thinks of something much better Lise-I like your appellations!
Grammy is sweet, but I did think it was so cute what Lise Howe figured out.
My grandmother was Grammy in my family (maternal grandmother) - My father's mother was called Bar - even though her name was Lise Courtney as was her daughter, myself and my daugher - It is funny what names we come up with for grandmothers and grandfathers.
Good moring Joanna. What a lovely post and trip in memory and reality. Love the pictures too.
