An ORS-5 satellite for the US Air Force is set to be launched from Cape Canaveral aboard an Orbital ATK Minotaur IV rocket. The launch window opens at 11:15pm on Friday evening and extends through Saturday morning at 3:15am. So if everything happens in a timely fashion, then liftoff would be Friday evening. If there are delays, liftoff could be early Saturday morning. I don't think I will stay up waiting for the fiery proof in the night sky. If you are interested in following the launch, you can see it at www.orbitalatk.com starting approximately at 10:55 pm EST on Friday night.

Kerry L Klun, Broker/Owner Oh, I wish our vacation plans would have included Cape Canaveral. A few years ago we left CC aboard cruise ship & saw an evening launch. Awesome!!!
