Don't Worry - We've Got The Door Covered!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Aspen Lane Real Estate Colorful Colorado CRE# 40005863

Today is one of those days when I have to wait around for the Comcast guy to show up in the allotted window of time to replace the router for our Internet service.  It is a worthwhile service call because our Internet speed with increase substantially.  Soon I will be able to browse at Lightning Speed!

The only down side is the waiting...

What if I am on the phone and don't hear the dude?

What if I had too many Diet Cokes and need to make a bathroom dash?

No problem.

I gave "The Boys" a job to do today.

I opened the front door and asked them to watch closely for the Comcast Guy.

They listened well and took their job seriously.

Obviously they know there are some treats in their future.

It is funny how they listen to some requests and not others.  I think they just like peering out the door Kat Palmiotti

If they're anything like our dogs that lounge in the foyer all day once they see a flicker of movement you'll know the service guy has arrived no matter what you're doing or where you're doing it. They go nuts

Hi Belinda - This looks like a perfect assignment for the canine welcoming committee - they're so good at it, they can sleep on the job.

Belinda-They probably have selective hearing and only listen to the requests they want to hear. Great photo.

Hi Guys.  No worries.  The pups sounded the bark alarm as soon as the Comcast Guy pulled up outside.  Good doggies.

They each got their own slice of American cheese for their efforts.

Another job well done!

That looks like some laying down on the job but maybe it is more of keeping an ear to the ground to make sure they know what is getting ready to happen. They are such pretty dogs.

Ha ha.  About that faster internet.  One thing always leads to another doesn't it.

It seems we have the speed but our firewall can't handle that much speed so we are still at only 50 mbps.  Hubby has to buy a new and improved firewall for about $500 in order to take advantage of the greased lightning speed.

Let's go dude.  What's the hold up.

Well Belinda Spillman this is putting a whole new meaning to the terms "watch dog".  Of course with my luck, I'd be on the phone with a client and the guy would come which would make the dogs go crazy....

Belinda Spillman - there is nothing I hate more than to wait for the contractor or service people to come to my house.

You found the PERFECT solution! I have a feeling, that the next time I'm waiting, I could have enough time to drive over to your place, borrow your dogs and I'd still be waiting. But at least, I'd know when those bozo's arrived! I love the photo of your guards!
