Tonight, from 5-6 p.m. at Mr. G's Supper Club, the Door County Board of Realtors and its affiliates will join in our annual summer charity event, which for the first time in a few decades is not a golf outing--it's a game night, the proceeds of which will go to benefit the Door County Crime Prevention Foundation, a non-profit organization used to assist the Door County Sheriff Department in raising funds for a new K-9 unit (dog is here!), Shop with a Cop and other altruistic ventures. Although the Door County canine dog isn't trained to be present yet, the Algoma department will be on hand with its unit to provide demonstrations.
This night of fun includes games of chance, a bean-bag toss, libations, dinner, story telling and more. It's a family friendly event, and the public is welcome.
This follows on the heels of today's presentation at our annual August board meeting of the presentation of a check of $1,000.00 to our local Boys and Girls Club from the Door County Board of Realtors--always active throughout our communities.
Join us at Mr. G's in Jacksonport tonight to help raise funds for the Door County Crime Prevention Foundation Fund. Door County Realtor gather for a great cause...and give back to the Door County community.
