After leaving the office today I drove about 1/2 of a mile down Plaza Dr to Lucent Blvd to check on the progress of the new hospital being built in Highlands Ranch.
According to the Denver Business Journal, University of Colorado Health is expanding into booming Highlands Ranch. They will be building a $315 million, six-story hospital that is scheduled to open in 2018.
UCHealth’s 33-acre Highlands Ranch hospital campus, to be located near Lucent Boulevard and C-470, will include 72 inpatient beds, an intensive care unit, operating rooms, advanced cardiac services, an emergency department and complete imaging capabilities.
The hospital is going to be part of a larger 100-acre master planned development that will include townhomes, apartments, and retail space.
Today I noticed a sign for a Mad Greens restaurant coming soon to the retail portion of complex. There are also models going up for the 280 townhomes that are to be built (picture attached). If you would like more infomation on these new construction townhomes or other homes in Douglas County, CO, give me a call at 720-810-5996.
