Needing Financing for Mobile homes...any suggestions?

Hi All,

 

Need your help desperately. 

I have a strong buyer who wants to buy a Manufactured home on 12 Acres of land and I am having a hard time getting a lender to loan him the money.

 

Do you have any experience in a situation like this.  He is a young, first time buyer who is a very hard worker and can certainly make the payment.

 

BBandT are a possibility but I have also heard of a USAA.  I do not have any knowledge of it. 

So help if you can,

Is it a new manufactured home or an older one? If it is an older one it may not be fanciable at all. If you don't know the age of the home you can look for the metal button located to the back of the home or in the electrical box or under the sink on a glued on paper.

The serial number can then be plugged into the national site and it will give you information you may need.

I use to have two names of people who use to loan money on these homes. I don't know if they still are most companies are not.  If I can find them I will send them to you.

I find that small local banks are the best for getting this type of a loan.

Ginger Harper You might try 21st Mortgage Corporation, Ken Mullis 800-955-0021 Ext. 1235. Rates for mobiles are higher, but when a buyer has the need, this may be the only alternative.
