I want to get busy on Active Rain again but have an important question

Kathy I've been seeing that as well and I honestly have no idea of who's managing that aspect of the platform The AR guidelines are clear about it but there is a lot of that going on.

Hi Kathy Smiley! I guess, you can share content that you have permission to share even if it is not yours and as long as you acknowlege the author. 

You've always been allowed to post non-original content, but you had to click the button that said

which meant you didn't get any points for it.

 I saw a blogger the other day on ActiveRain who is copying NAR articles verbatim.  No credit given, no attribution.  I suppose that blogger's argument would be, "Well I am a member of NAR so technically that content is for me to use".

  As for KCM, I thought that it was charts and graphs that could be incorporated into a post... the intent was not that it be the entire post.  

Adhering to the guidelines here is important and keeps us in good standing and encourages a respectful attitude toward other members. Those who use other people's material as their own will eventually be held accountable. I like to re-blog well-written posts but seldom do because of the trust by verify aspect. It can play out like a domino effect.
