EAT HERE → Hudson Hall at 364 Marin in Jersey City. With an anticipated open date of mid-September, this Beer Hall and Smoke House features flavors derived from the age-old skills of smoking, pickling and fermenting, applied expertly to meats, fish, cheeses and vegetables.
GET MORE ZEPPOLES HERE → Hoboken Italian Festival September 7-10. This festival celebrates Madonna Dei Martiri and features carnival rides, games, live music performances and a massive variety of authentic Italian cuisine.
SAMPLE WINES FROM AROUND THE WORLD HERE → Jersey City Wine Fest on September 9. Wine Fest is your all access pass to hundreds of new wines from around the world. Guests will enjoy unlimited wine samples for the entire evening paired with live entertainment, food and interactive games.
CHECK OUT → The Hudson West Folk Festival on Saturday, September 9 at Cathedral Hall in Jersey City. This is the first major folk festival to come to town and will feature 13 musical artists--national and regional--as well as musical workshops, cultural vendors, food, drink and a full bar.
CHEER ON THE BILLS (OR JETS) HERE → Abbey's Pub in Jersey City will host the Jersey City Buffalo Bills Fan Group for the Bills vs. Jets game on September 10. They've got great wings, great beer and, most importantly, plenty of TV screens!
ETCH GLASS HERE → Glass Etching Workshop at Kanibal & Co. in Jersey City. This DIY workshop taking place on September 14 is taught by Christine Tischio of TurnstyleART. The cost is $30 and includes the lesson, all supplies and refreshments.
CELEBRATE DOWNTOWN JC HERE → All About Downtown Street Fair on Saturday, September 16. This festival takes place on Newark Avenue between Grove Street and Coles Street in Jersey City and features more than a hundred vendors selling all sorts of products ranging from handmade jewelry to one of a kind art work, 10+ of the top Food Trucks in the tri-state area and all sorts of fun for the family.
HEAD TO → the Hoboken Fall Arts & Music Festival on Sunday, September 24 in Hoboken. One of the biggest festivals in Hoboken, the event features more than 300 artists, crafters, food vendors, local businesses, 2 stages of live music, and lots of delicious food.
