There were 96 sales in the Briargate subdivision of Colorado Springs for the Month of August of 2017. This number is down 27% from August of 2016. We think this decrease has more to do with lack of inventory and affordability than lack of demand.
Briargate has gotten more expensive, especially over the last three years. The Median Sales price in Briargate is now $358,250. That's a 27% increase since 2014.
Certain areas like Fairfax and Sable Chase still have homes prices below the median for Briargate but of course, these prices are climbing as well.
The Briargate area remains popular with people looking for Amenities, convenience, and location. The big question is will the average Pikes Peak region home buyer still be able to afford a home in Briargate.
