Carlsbad Brewfest 2017 is Almost Here!
Beer and micro-brew lovers, if you are not already aware, here’s some great news! The 2017 Carlsbad Brewfest is just a little over a week away.
Carlsbad, and nearby, has become a hotbed of craft breweries and places serving all sorts of beers, ales and micro-brews. Carlsbad’s very popular Brewfest on Saturday September 9th is a awesome way to check them all out…well, about 66 of them, all in one place, from 33 area craft breweries. (logo links to website)
The Carlsbad Brewfest 2017, as in the past, will be at Holiday Park on Pio Pico near Carlsbad Village, just south of Carlsbad Village Drive, with beer tasting from Noon until 4. While much of the fun is centered around beer sampling, there will be music by the Oceanside Sound System (SKA punk sounds), plus food and snacks to go with your beer.
Be aware that they will be checking IDs and no one under the age of 21 will be admitted.
They expect 1500 or so beer lovers, so plan accordingly for the best parking in the local area. Or bicycle, or take Lyft (use the special code CBREW).You can purchase tickets online for $50; they even have a Designated Driver admission ticket at $10!
