Your website is extremely helpful in give new clients who may be moving to the area and want to know more than just prices and facts. I am trying to give clients a feel for the area more than just school facts, commute times and such. I will also give them those items but trying to think of the extra items. I am asking for ideas of things I may have missed. I use and lot of photos and work text around them. This page is not finished but an outline of my task. Your ideas Uptown/Garden District so take a look and I will help you with yours.

Great pictures.  I have a few suggestions. Perhaps breaking the information up into several pages.  Anyone using dial up is going to die of old age waiting for the page to load.  I'm sure people wonder if the area was effected by Katrina, so may want to be upfront about it right away. Use the first page as more of a portal page, giving some related information with links to specific things on other pages, like things to do, educational opportunities, historical sites, etc. I think it the long run it will give you more traffic and relevant on site links back to the main page. Definitely break it up by real estate, have another "portal" type page for the uptown condos, with links from that page to specific projects, unique area entertainment, schools, etc. I will be a lot of work but long term worth it. - Charles

I agree. You are image-rich and content-lite right now. This is this a business website, right? Make it clear and indicate how prospects can get in touch with you. I would put the Katrina info on its own page as it is a bit negative (though it does generate a lot of interest). If you need Katrina photos, let me know. I was right back in the city once the flood waters were out of Lakeview (lied my way past the roadblocks) and took quite a few photos of Lakeview and the marina area as well some in St. Bernard. Some are at www.triton218.com (my sailing site), just click on Photo Albums.

Oh - I just noticed the site map at the bottom of your page. Transition some of those into links at the top of the page for better site organization. Great site and idea, by the way.

Jason, thanks for the time and comments. I am not to much into the damage aspect as I see to much of it but thats anyway. I would like the Lakeview ones to look at. No one would ever buy there if they saw them. eric
