I can not believe you wrote that - WOW them Wednesdays

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Godzyk Real Estate Services NH License 033394

All summer I  wrote about some of the most exciting pools I saw all year. Last week as summer comes to end in New England, I wrote about a home with some horrible carpet. Well some of you missed my pool pictures. So... I was very excited to get a call to list a new mansion type property last Friday. It has been vacant since winter, it has exciting to roam from room to room. I got to the top floor, peered down and there it was. This pool ready and waiting to be featured today.

Those of you who liked the carpet photos, we will get back to them next week. But for now, one last pool picture.

How is this for a 1 million dollar home? The good part is with a list of items to complete, this home will be back to it's glory days soon, and on the market. selling it as is, did not work so well.

It is so important to have a Listing Agent that will tell a seller who to get the most money when selling. What items should be done and how not to leave your home.

And there you have it, week 9 in the books. Look for changes coming on week 10.

This blog is brought to you by my now infamous message, that a Buyer or Seller should not choose just any agent, choose the BEST agent for the job. My philosophy is simple, provide more personal and professional service to guide my clients through each step of the buying or selling process. All Agents are not created equal and every buyer or seller should take the time to hire the BEST not just the biggest. Those that hire me, find a dedication like no other. and for some, a seat next to me for an hour in the future watching the sun and surf. It is the best way to boost energy and produce more.

Hi Scott... I have to assume that a $1 million home in your area is pretty high end, as it is in mine. I can't say I've seen this kind of neglect on the whole in our million dollar homes. (Thankfully!)

Yes a million dollars  gets you quite a home here, 10 years old. 5500 sf, 3 car garage on 2 acres. You sure do not see pools like thisin this type of price range Nina Hollander. A first for me

Hey Scott it never ceases to amaze me about sellers that leave so much $$$$ at the table due to failing to make their home show ready and in tip top condition.

So sad, a million dollar investment and the owners can't/won't replace a pool liner. Penny wise/ Pound foolish.

Hi Scott,

Pretty soon that pool will  be full of snow or green ice. You can sell it as a home with an ice-skating rink or hockey practice area!

That is a really old pool. I have seen some like that where the only remedy was to demo and remove or replace.
