Thanks Sharon Lee - it truly is a beautiful time of year!
I love it there when you can see whole mountains of quaking Aspens.

Hi Joe Pryor - I love that too..it will be a few more weeks before this whole mountain turns, I think. Thanks for coming by, I appreciate it!
Stunning picture, Mary! It has been an odd, busy year. I'm looking forward to autumn, and slowing down a bit.

Myrl Jeffcoat , I'm glad it was a busy year for you! The change in seasons does provide a bit of a break, you're right about that! Thanks Myrl
My fall is already falling. I need to start picking up leaves tomorrow,

William Feela , that is amazing- so far, these are not falling, but once they start they go quickly! Thanks and happy raking :-)
Hi Mary! Yes, this is a GREAT time of the year and I just noticed some changing colors in our neck of the woods.

Hi Bruce Walter , long time no see! Thanks for coming by I hope you have a wonderful fall season!

Debe, I imagine the colors in North Carolina will be stunning! Thanks Debe Maxwell, CRS
That's a beautiful picture, with the mountains peeking over the top of the trees in the background. Enjoy this season!

Mary, what a stunning photo, and it is just beginning. Need to get a trip planned for a drive!
Thank you Kat Palmiotti ! ' Looks like that mountain top needs a little more snow- I guess that will be next. I hope you enjoy the season, too!
Thanks Joan Cox - yes it's coming quickly! You know, I love all the colors on the city streets too, there's a larger variety of trees, and multi colors- so we get to enjoy autumn for a while yet!

Mary, leaves have been dropping off our local trees since end of August, and am worried we may see a tough winter.

That is very strange Joan- I guess we will see what's up next!
So beautiful Mary. I was there in June (with my boy) and we had an AMAZING time.
Hi Jeffrey, thank you! How could you not have an amazing time here AND with your boy! and you did not even stop in to say hello Jeffrey DiMuria 321.223.6253 Waves Realty !!???
That is beautiful, Mary. But that's the thing about where you live and work in Red Feather Lakes. Every time you drive around a corner, there is something else to shoot a photo of. I'm surprised you ever make it into work, LOL.
As for fall colors, while I appreciate them, I also find them sad. Because things are dying and then freezing weather is just around the corner. I'm not a fan of winter. Not where it snows.
Thanks Elizabeth, Somedays, I'm surprised I make it to work too LOL- I understand what you are saying about fall, winter is not far behind - of course the skiers can't wait for the snow, but that doesn't mean everyone has to like it :-)
Beautiful photo! We had snow for a while last night but then it turned back into rain. Guess this means our trees will start turning as well now. ![]()
Brenda, I heard it snowed in Red Feather too! It didn't stick, though- so anyone sleeping missed it! Thanks for your comment, I hope they all get to change color before they get frozen -) Happy Fall Brenda!
Oh my, don't the years fly by. It was just the beginning of summer. It must be nice to see the color changes which be barely have here.
Hi Jane- they go by too fast it seems. It is nice to have 4 seasons...so, with your previous thought, it will be spring before we know it! LOL Thanks Jane!
I love seeing the first of the trees begin to change colors. It is my favorite time of the year.
Hi Debbie, it is my favorite season too. The changing colors never last as long as I would like them to , though -) Thanks Debbie, Happy Fall!
Mary, with these cooler temperatures, thinking the leaves will be falling quicker now!
I think so Joan! Today, it is pretty rainy and foggy - hopefully our blue skies will return for Indian Summer soon!
Love this time of year, in a couple of weeks wil l be headed up to steamboat for some great pictures.

Hi Will Hamm , it should be peek viewing by then - there is still a lot of green in the Upper Poudre- this was just a few days ago, almost to Cameron Pass- Thanks!
