Lakewood Homes in Lake Oswego OR
Lakewood is not one of the larger Lake Oswego neighborhoods, but it packs a punch as far as proximity to LO amenities. It is walkable to the LO Farmer's Market, Lakeview Village, Starbucks, Peet's, Whole Foods 365, Sur La Table, Tucci, Glassybaby, Kyra's, and more. You can boat or walk to Stickman's or the Lake Theater, and more.
Lakewood is one of the older neighborhoods in the city, so there is a mix of historical and also many new construction properties. Much of Lakewood homes consist of Lake Oswego waterfront homes and also great Lake Oswego View homes of Lakewood Bay, Half Moon Bay, and also the main lake towards the west for a perfect sunset view. Current prices of Lakewood homes for sale range from just under $800,000 to around $4 million for a waterfront estate. There is a larger range of home prices in the neighborhood. There are only less than a dozen homes for sale in the neighborhood on line in the MLS, but homes in Oregon are not necessarily going ot be found in the MLS, Redfin, or Zillow, as the local custom is to have pocket listings. Please let us know what you are looking for so we can show you off market properties as well.
Lake Oswego School District is highly rated and the schools in the boundaries of Lakewood are no exception. Lakewood school children attend Forest Hills Elm, Lake Oswego Middle School, and Lake Oswego High School. All three of these schools are in the top ten for Oregon schools. Lake Oswego High School is nationally ranked high as well.
