To paraphrase Mark Twain, Everyone complains about time but no one is doing anything about it.
You should know that there is no secret formula for time management. There is no special tool. Any will work. I is not about the tool or the method.
Time management is a mindset and a lifestyle and it starts with your personal value statement. To make my point I will ask these questions. Did you have a day where you felt inundated with meaningless work and at the end of the day you felt like you had accomplished little? Then another day you completed many exciting projects with ease?
In other words, when we work at challenging and stimulating projects directly related to our goals, our achievement level skyrockets and time flies. When we are bored or doing something we don't like time drags and so does our performance.
When you understand what your really value you can use any method or program to manage your time.
With that said here is the challenge:
If you have your time (personal and business) under control now let us know how you did it. Tell us how you discovered the things that were most important to you and incorporated them into your life's activities. You can also tell us about what you discarded.
You have not done it yet but you are inspired by this contest to get your life organized and in order. Tell us what you are doing to prioritize by looking at what you value and what you don't and what you will be doing about it.
Hopefully, members will read your entries and get some "ah ha" moments.
