City of Aurora's Snow Buster Program Needs Volunteers

While we haven't seen any white stuff yet in the Mile High City, we know it isn't long before the white flakes start flying.

The City of Aurora has a program where volunteers help neighbors shovel their drives and walks.  There are many folks with disabilities or are elderly who just can't get out and shovel.  The City pairs volunteers with these residents in need based on proximity.

Volunteers commit to help this person in need for one snow season.

To volunteer, call 303-739-7083 or visit

AuroraGov.org/SnowBusters

The snow will be here before we know it!

Good morning, Belinda ---it's not even officially Fall yet and you're already talking about snow.   Well, you are a good planner and this is a worthy cause that definitely deserves some attention.

Have you put away all of your flip flops and brought out the UGGS yet?

Hey Belinda this is  a really great idea. I think I'll volunteer so I can up and visit you and Craig and of course the Greenbergs too.  I'll bring Anna too!

Hi Belinda - That's another great program for Aurora, and a great way to help the elderly. And it's going to be needed for sure.

Hi Belinda- this is such a good thing for the community to do. There have been articles of people having heart attacks while shoveling the white stuff. What about the gnomes?
