Why Live at the Whitehall?
Because it's quiet and set in green space!
Face it - Bethesda is getting to be a big little city. The intersection of Bethesda
and Woodmont Avenues has been transformed in the last few years from a quiet little area with a surface parking lot or two and a Barnes and Noble into a community with luxury high rise condos, a park, trendy stores and upscale restaurants. Bethesda has gone high end! It is a great place to shop and dine, but for many people it is overwhelming as a place to live. Some residents long for the “good old days” when Bethesda was a little quieter For those who enjoy a little more peace and quiet, I will share my favorite place to live - the best value in Bethesda is the Whitehall. The Whitehall is composed of two high rise buildings and a cluster of townhomes around the swimming pool. Across the street is a small park and public tennis courts, the perfect complement to the condo’s swimming pool and exercise room.
The condo also has a front desk and on site management. All these amenities are available to the townhomes at the Whitehall.
4985 Battery Lane is Coming Soon!
Looking for a townhome in downtown Bethesda rather than a condo? Want a front door and a backdoor? Love to grill? Does a three foot wide balcony not do it for you? You will love this townhome at 4985 Battery Lane with three bedrooms and two and a half newly remodeled bathrooms. The townhome is constantly flooded with light from the floor to ceiling windows in front and back. The dining room opens to a private tree shaded patio that overlooks the pool (which is never busy!)
On the first floor is a large living room with floor to ceiling windows that opens into the dining room. The owner has recently replaced the sliding glass doors to the patio. From the dining room and the remodeled kitchen, you have a great view of the patio and the pool beyond.

Living in Downtown Bethesda
Living in downtown Bethesda means living in a lively urban community filled with nearly 200 restaurants, 75 home fashion retailers, unique boutiques, day spas and salons, three live theaters, art galleries and much more! Harris Teeter is just down the street at Wisconsin Avenue and Battery and the subterranean Safeway is a few blocks away at Old Georgetown Road and Woodmont. While there are lots of apartments and condominiums in Bethesda that offer convenient and luxurious living like the Lionsgate and the Cheval, the Whitehall is outstanding because of the value that it offers and the availability of very reasonably priced townhomes which are very rare in downtown Bethesda.
Where Do Whitehall Children Go to School?
As more and more families choose to remain in downtown Bethesda, there are lots of children waiting for the school bus at each condo building! The Whitehall is in the Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School cluster, so children at the Whitehall attend Bethesda Elementary, Westland Middle School and Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School.
