People Always ask for the Forelosure List... We dont have one!

Where is the list of Foreclosures in our area? Well We just dont have enough to make a list!

All we have our Happy Days Ahead!

 

According to RealtyTrac.com, a foreclosure listing service, one in every 5679 housing units in Alaska had a foreclosure listing in August, 2017 (the most recent data available). 

 

Anchorage Borough had the highest number of August foreclosure listings

(1 in 3,062 units). 

 

Matanuska-Susitna Borough was second (1 in 3,737 units).  

Ketchikan Gateway Borough was third highest (1 in 6,178 units).  

Juneau was fourth highest (1 in 13,044 units).  

Fairbanks North Star Borough had the fifth highest number of foreclosure listings in August

(1 in 13,870 units).  

The Kenai Peninsula Borough was not among the five highest regions in August.

What a gorgeous picture, Debra. I get your message. I still get calls from people who want a "deal." When I tell them we really have no deals anymore and haven't for a number of years, they almost always respond by saying they'd happily buy a foreclosure or short sale. We don't have many of those either anymore and those that are out there aren't deals anymore either.

Hello Nina Hollander Its so true... people want a deal and think foreclosures are a deal... usually they are anything but a good deal!! Glad we are both in a good strong market! Have a great Weekend!
