Is there a best time to be looking for a home? Typically in the serping market, there is more homes on the market but there is trypically more activity from buyers so their could be competion. If the home stays on the market during the winter months, it means the seller is usually motivated. Honestly, you should always stay looking because there is no guarantee when the right house is going to hit the market.
Once you find a home and secure an offer, the whole process takes about 2 to 2.5 months to close for a traditional resale home. In some cases, you might be able to close quicker if the sellers have relocated out of the property, you can get your mortgage faster or doing a cash purchase. When we meet, we can discuss the local Danbury,CT housing market, what you are looking for and to start the process. You can view all of the current listings here. I look forward to hearing from you.
