Miracles Still Do Happen!
ALERT! This is one of those posts that might just bring a tear or two to your eye. Sometimes we all need to be reminded of the GOOD that is in this world. Thank you for allowing me to share this amazing story of love, compassion, and generosity that happened this week.
I am honored to work with an amazing group of people each and every day. Additionally, the parent company of my brokerage ais top-notch. They are who they say they are. Never has this been more evident than this past Monday evening.
We were asked as an entire company to be in Waco by 6:00 p.m. for a big announcement. Over 600 people from all areas of the company were there eagerly awaiting to hear from our fearless leader. We had some fun, giveaways, and fellowship.
Our wonderful leader then asked us to close our eyes for just a few seconds to think of someone with whom we worked with that was in need in some way. He then asked those of us who felt led to come up onto the stage.
My body was literally lifted up out of my seat. Once on the stage I began questioning if I should be doing this or not as the woman I work with may not want her story known. I was sweating bullets.
About 15 of us came up to the stage and were asked to then invite the person we had on our hearts to join us. My co-worker came up and I whispered to her if this was OK with her. She assured me it was fine. Those of us who did the inviting were then asked to sit back down leaving those in need on the stage.
Those who remained shared their quick story of need. It was powerful to hear these stories one by one. From hurricane needs, single moms, illness and many others, these people were in need. As an entire group we prayed over these individuals. It was powerful.
Then, our leader told them the most amazing thing. He said, I am giving each one of you a financial gift. This was a VERY generous amount too! Everyone collectively gasped and the tears were everywhere. WOW! For these people in need, they experienced a miracle that night. Those of us who witnessed this were also indeed blessed.
This is the kind of company I am proud to be a part of! Giving back and taking care of the folks who represent them is evident. What a beautiful, selfless act that will no doubt bless countless people.
Thank you to the leaders of our company. You exemplify how a company should be run on a daily basis. I for one am very proud to be associated with you.
Never, ever forget that miracles still do happen everyday! Look for them! Believe in them!
