Speechless Sundays - Winter Is Coming

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with New Paradigm Partners LLC EB #1326335

I spent the day showing mountain properties, always one of my favorite things to do, and what was a grey, drizzly day down in town turned into a winter landscape as soon as we gained a bit of altitude - up to around 8700 feet - and the temperature went from the low 60's to the mid 30's. It got me excited to see some early signs of what's to come - my favorite season.

Beautiful picture Dick but please don't remind me "winter is coming" unless you're talking about Game of Thrones

What you showed properties in the mountains.  Very adventurous of you.  Looks like a nice view from the inside of your car.  I can't believe how much snow we got in the high country this past week.  It's coming......

Belinda Spillman I'll have you know I actually got out of the car to take that picture. Us high-powered photo takers won't tolerate windshield distortion.

Dick Greenberg - If that road was narrow and just a dirt road, it would have looked like what I left behind me in my home in Northern, IL. It's such a beautiful photograph! I could almost smell the fresh fallen snow and feel the chill in the air that is so comforting. Yes! many happy memories.

When you say winter is your favorite season, I'm wondering if you were born in December? All December babies I know love winter and the fresh fallen snow. Plus they have great personalities like you seem to have too.

Best wishes on great winter sales in the land that you love so dearly.

Patricia Feager  Nah, I was born in March, in Atlanta - but it was probably an unusually cold month : )

It does seem to be getting closer to our snowy season again. I forget in Colorado you guys drive around at 8700 feet above sea level Dick Greenberg

You're speaking our language, and know you did have a fabulous time. When we have to wear boots and slog around acreage, it's a good day. No snow here though, yet.

Dick Greenberg - Even though you were born in March, you have the spirit of Christmas. I never would have guessed Atlanta. You certainly have lived in many different places! I guess this is one of the reasons why you understand the mindset of buyers and sellers.

From the looks of those cedar trees, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

I am not ready for snow. On a different note i wouldnt be breathing well at 8700ft as i am used to 0-100 feet above sea level.  The tallest Mountain in NH is Mt Washington at 6288 Dick Greenberg

Hi Dick

That’s a great photo and I admit to liking it, despite you having said the “W” word! I wasn’t even ready for fall but sure glad snow is not on the horizon for us!

So THAT'S why you have your below-freezing coat on in your profile! Not just because it has bright colors and catches our eye immediately against the gentle backdrop of snowcaps that match your snowy beard. Got it. Another mystery solved.

The first snow is very exciting as it means get the sweaters, scarves and boots out. But by the first of January I am ready for spring.

I saw some videos of the snow in Colorado and it got me excited.  Snowboard is waxed and ready to go!  Hoping to spend some time in those beautiful mountains of yours this winter.
