Places to go and things to do to make the most out of your October in Hudson County.

EAT HERE → Piggyback Bar at 230 Hudson St in Jersey City. Owned by culinary power couple Leah Cohen (Top Chef alum) and Ben Byruch, Piggyback Bar will specialize in American bar food with Cohen’s trademark Asian twist.

 

 

CELEBRATE WEEHAWKEN HERE Weehawken Day on October 7 from 12-6pm at Weehawken Waterfront Park. This fun-filled community-wide celebration is a must-attend for Weehawken residents!

BE A HALLOWEEN FOODIE HERE → Midnight Market's Halloween Night Market on Friday, October 13th starting at 6:30PM. Costumes encouraged but not required. There will be 20 vendors serving super fun foods at $5 or less, $5 drinks, and the DJ will keep the party going until after midnight!
 


CELEBRATE FALL HERE → Harvest Festival in Jersey City, October 14th from 10:30 am – 1:30pm at City Hall Plaza in Jersey City. A fun event for the whole family with pumpkin decoration, face painting, music for kids and more.

BRING YOUR PUP & SUPPORT LIBERTY HUMANE SOCIETY HERE → Bark in the Park on October 14 at Church Square Park in Hoboken. This is the largest pet-festival in Hudson County, bringing together animal-lovers for a day filled food, wonderful vendors, and fun including a Dog Costume Contest, bounce house, balloon art and face-painting!
 


EAT PIZZA HERE → Hoboken Pizza Fest on Sunday, October 15th at the Hoboken Elks Lodge. Tickets are $25 and include pizza from EVERY vendor, ice cream, giveaways and live music. 

TOUR HOUSES HERE → 31st Annual Hoboken House Tour on October 22. The self-guided tour features approximately 10 homes and condos, plus special bonus stops, and raises funds for the Hoboken Historical Museum. Ticket prices range from $40-$125. 
 


BE TERRIFIED HERE →  Terminal of Terror 2 at the historic Central Railroad of NJ Terminal in Liberty State Park. The Terminal will be transformed into The Terminal of Terror 2 on October 27th and 28th. Fun attractions, bars and Halloween activities.
