Sitting on the banks of the Yellowstone River at the north end of Paradise Valley, you’ll find some of the best fishing, floating, hiking and camping within miles of town.
Livingston is located 25 miles from Bozeman. Many people make the commute over the Bozeman pass daily, although the road can be difficult and sometimes closed in the winter.

BELGRADE, MONTANA
Belgrade is often the first place many people look to as an alternative to living Bozeman. Located just 11 miles apart, many people wonder what could possibly be so different about these sister towns. Homeowners in Belgrade enjoy significantly lower housing costs than Bozeman along with great schools, mountain views and abundant parks and recreational areas. The character of the two towns is very different, but Belgrade has a strong community and is set to make many improvements to its infrastructure in the next several years.
With a population of approximately 8,300, Belgrade has 4 elementary schools, 1 middle school and 1 high school. The Yellowstone International Airport is located just outside of town and is expected to bring significant growth to the area.
