October is a great month with the change of seasons, leaves turning beautiful colors and beginning to fall, lots of festivals and celebrations taking place, even an opportunity to become someone new for a day, scare a few folks and eat lots of candy. According to Northern Colorado real estate broker, Dick Greenberg, October is also photography month. Greenberg hosts an annual photography contest, so I'm going to enter these two photos in the "People" category (though it was a tough call, because these would be good candidates for the "animal" category as well).
Following the recent hurricanes, the price of gas is sky high. I've noticed more people walking and biking to cut costs. But today, at one of the Atlanta area's busiest intersections, I looked up and saw this lady riding a horse to the grocery store!
HONK! HONK!
Stopped at the traffic light, I whipped out my camera to take a photo, so amazed and oblivious to all the cars behind me honking to let me know the traffic light had turned green.
Ah, but why were these people so impatient? Didn't they see I was taking pictures, and it was a horse of course, of course!
BEEP! BEEP!
Time for a close-up!
