The world is shrinking (not yet)

I do my best to write twice per day, mostly about real estate.

However, going forward I will dedicate at least a few blogs per week to something positive. I did a little research today and found something very interesting.

IT seems the world population is actually about to peak.

We all hear it all the time, the world will be so over-populated that we will be forced to eat bugs, there will be no water and we will have no space. It turns out, like most things we believe, we were wrong about that as well.

Recently Scientist have noticed a trend, as the world becomes more educated, the birthrates have seemed to decline and level. It is now predicted that within one generation, the world's population will peak at about ten-billion people. While that is a lot of people, it is certainly not unmanageable.

New research is actually predicting a decline in population.

The old saying goes, what goes up, must come down. I guess that is true in population as well. Science now predicts that after reaching the peak of ten-billion, the worlds population will eventually begin to decrease. This research has actually started the conversations among scientist of what is the minimum sustainable human population.
