I wonder if anyone else has had this happen to them.I am representing the buyer of an REO property.The seller is a west coast bank and they have hired a law firm in south Florida to close for them.They are 600 miles from Gulf Breeze where the property is located.This is a cash deal so problems right. Wrong, after 2 extentions we are 10 days from our closing date and the closing attorney's called me and asked if I had a title company here that would do the closing on this end for FREE.Keep in mind now that they did not contact the brokerage firm representing the seller onlyme. What a crock. When I told themI would not furnish them with a free title company they were very put out that I would not offer to help them when they have been nothing but a pain in my side for 3 months now with a cash buyer.
Just wondered if anyone else has run into this ?
