Charlotte- a bit happier than the rest

Well according to what I've read we're pretty lucky to be selling real estate in Charlotte. Though there may be an overall decrease in home sales/prices in the US, Charlotte is the only city that has shown an increase in housing prices- be it only a mere 1.5%. I'm glad to be hanging in there with at least a small growth!! Unfortunate markets like Vegas and Miami are really suffering right now. On a positive note- things are bound to get better. My prediction: another 6 months and we'll be on the upswing- how's that for positive thinking?? Thought all you agents out there could use some totally unsolicited words of inspiration! By the way- Forbes named Charlotte one of the top 10 best cities for home sellers.

Wow, that is impressive in this economy.  Charlotte is one of those places that I can't wait to visit.  It just sounds like a nice place.  Yes, out urban markets are struggling, but it's really for the better.  Wish you all the best!

Stacey, Good for you!  That is wonderful that you are in a "growing" area, even if it is small.  We are seeing a positive turn here in Vegas recently.  I'm sure it will keep growing in the future.
