I get a lot of frogs and toads in and around my property because it is near a creek. Generally I am startled by them when I am doing something and then come close before I realize they are there. Today my lawn guy saw this one and pointed it out to me. It was little and didn't move but I caught his eye. He was more translucent than the others I have seen. He's gone now but maybe somewhere else hiding and waiting for the summer.....our weather is upside down. I call him Gene.
That could end up being Gene, Gene, the dancing machine. An old gong show character.

Hi Sheila- I'm not really a frog person and only see them here after we've had a lot of rain. Now, we do have squirrels and some of them do have names.
