Welcome to the ongoing series called Tuesday Travelogue. We are in our 138th week!
Each week, some ActiveRain bloggers are spotlighted to take us somewhere we may not have been on some kind of virtual travel (and it doesn't cost a dime!). Here is the purpose:
to enjoy the ride"
"take a trip without even leaving the farm"
"expand your horizons"
"see through someone else's eyes"
and hopefully much more!
Therapy, anyone? If it requires a beach, or a gallery with a girlfriend or or or...it's often what we need to escape, even for just a virtual moment!
Belinda Spillman pulls at my memories when she takes us to one of my favorite places on earth, Hawaii. This time it's Kawaii.
Let's go to Lugano for a completely different viewpoint. Kim and Kristine Halverson talk about going off the beaten track and explore things the unknown.
Bob Crane inspired me to start a new group, Travellers in the Rain because of this photograph. I'd totally forgotten! Wisconsin Lakes welcome you.
The world is a beautiful place to escape to when disaster strikes. Dorie Dillard speaks to this when she was on vacation in Italy from the then then devastated areas of Texas. As a result, she says, "I will never take things for granted again". A good lesson for all of us!
Please don't forget to comment on these blog posts and I hope that you enjoyed all of these virtual travels.
