I have been in sales for over 30 years. I first started "selling" by serving at a restaurant, then after over a decade of that, I started selling real estate, and I have been doing it ever since. One of the methods of evaluation that I love is the start, stop, and continue theory. Here is what Google says it is....
Stop Start Continue Change Management Model. Using the four basic titles (STOP START CONTINUE (CHANGE) look at a service or offer and consider each of the actions, top stop elements (or the whole service), start doing something new, continue what is happening (it is working well) or change an element.
So.....I was reminded today (by a mentor, I might add!) today.... One BIG thing I need to do is SHUT UP, and do more asking the people around me (clients, agents I manage, and vendors) What things do (If they could rule the world) THEY THINK would like to see "me" Start, Stop, and Continue.
