Here in the Greater Sacramento area, low inventory is impeding a lot of buyer activity.

This trend has endured many months of low inventory, and it does impact the number of sales.

Sacramento has a considerable amount of smoke from surrounding wildfires, but we continue to be safe.

The winds have kicked up considerably once again here in Sacramento.  We are impacted by smoke from the surrounding wildfires.  My heart aches for wine country, Curtis.

Hi Myrl, The thing is we have fewer homes for sale in Sacramento than we had a year ago in September, so naturally the number of solds and pendings would be less.

I looked at the first 9 days of October, and the pending sales are up almost 26% from the first 9 days of September. High demand is still going on in Sacramento, and I'm listing like crazy at the moment.

Hey, Tessa's stitches came out yesterday, and she's got a green light on that hernia situation.

Things have been better to with no anticipated new evacuations here in the Napa Valley. this length of days is beginning to weigh on me and I believe it will be another few days till the hopefully upcoming rain happens. Till then, again thanks for your kind thoughts and words, cheers cvc

Great succinct Sacramento County listing and sales statistics report, Myrl! We're experiencing the same thing - the low inventory is making it appear that "uh-oh, sales are down!" and the Chicken Littles are everywhere! LOL

Myrl I am repeating this here

That was a few days ago and now to the best of my knowledge, there are no active fires here. Calistoga's mayor was only saying this when there was a mandortory evacuation there. Many but not all of the wineries are open, call. Most all the restaurants are open but several on a limited schedule. Feel free to call me with what you have in mind and I will check things out and get back to you. cheers cvc
