From the beginning of 2017 until the end of September, 26,900 single-family homes were sold in the Las Vegas area – up 10 percent from 2016 for the same time period. These figures for resold homes are according to the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors (GLVAR). 2017 is on target to be the top year for home sales in the valley since 2012.
Last month, the median price of an existing single-family home was $265,000 – the hottest market is for existing homes under $300,000. The inventory in this price range is tight due to an increasing demand.
