I had a call yesterday from a man wanting to know if I could show him a rental property that our office had listed. I don't focus on working with rental properties but this young man told me had already secured a job here and had to leave in the morning. I had some extra time, so I decided to give up a couple of hours and work with him.
I checked our MLS and found several more properties that I thought he might like. One property was $25.00 above what he wanted to pay, but he liked the looks of it and we decided to go see it.
He really liked the condo I showed him that was $25.00 over his price range and ended up filling out a rental application for it. It worked out well that he was willing to consider an extra $25.00; in this case $25.00 made a big difference.
