What is this about? It's about Plain Washington of course! This is my first blog and I hope to enlighten you about the hidden(well almost) treasure that is Plain. Plain is located about 15 miles north of Leavenworth Wa. in a valley in the Central Cascades. The "town" consists of Just Plain Grocery,Plain Hardware and Beaver Valley Lodging and Storage. There are also a few of us that are lucky enough to call this beautiful place home. There are even more who are proud to have a vacation home or land in Plain. My wife Heidi and I moved here 5 years ago from the Seattle area to get away from our close(10 feet!) neighbors and raise our kids in the country. We are blessed to have Heidis parents across the street from us too. Before we moved here I had just started in Real Estate and I did some research on Leavenworth Real Estate. I was pleasantly surprised to find the area affordable and active. I told Heidi "I might be able to sell some cabins or land or SOMETHING over there". So we sold our house and packed up the kids and moved. In retrospect...it was a life changing decision. I will continue, and I promise to actually talk about Real Estate at some point, but I have to get to work.
