Laramie, WY Real Estate: Have you seen the photos of your home?

By

Yikes!  You've signed an agreement to have a  REALTOR
help you market your home.  You cleaned up and
Smile!made everything, neat, clean and sparkly Finally, your home is out there . . . or so you thought.  When you looked for your house online, you found no pictures, or just one picture, or worse yet, pictures that make your home look dingy, dark and unattractive.

Maybe - your home is dingy, dark and unattractive, but probably not.  If you find your home being represented in an unflattering way, then contact your agent to find a solution.  Most agents will want to do the best they can to put your home's best foot forward - especially since most buyers today start their home search on the internet.   Often, the information and pictures buyers find online can be the difference between wanting to see your actual home or just clicking on to the next one.  We want to attract buyers and we want our sellers to be satisfied.  So really, it is okay to go online (and you should!) to double check that your home is making a   GOOD . . .

Take a look at the agent you are considering BEFORE you sign up. Check out their marketing of other homes. And yes take a look at everything your agent is doing on your property, including photos and copy in MLS and other marketing.

My sellers and I are a team and I love when they compliment my marketing or even make suggestions.  And look at those photos and your actual listing to see what the public is seeing.

I think every seller should check out their home on the internet. I send a link to my sellers and invite them to share with friends.

Good morning Brenda.

I agree completely.  It would be in the client's best interest to check and see if their agent is living up to their expectations

Brenda, this is always my pet peeve, and wonder why homeowners don't look at their own listing!   Did they not see there were only a few photos, and the ones there were AWFUL?

Hi Brenda, you are so right, people "see" a home first online and they will pass right over anything that does not have appealing photos.
